Drug suffixes

Note
Common prefixes & suffixes apply only to the generic names of drugs.
Also, the similarities in drug names are not a defined rule, therefore do not occur 100% of the time.
Example: Not all drugs ending in –mycin are aminoglycoside antibiotics (like "Bleomycin"), but most are.
